The Hero Mother Project

Domestic Violence is a serious issue affecting a lot of women and children in Albania. It takes a lot of courage for a woman to denounce abuse. We have joined hands with another organization in helping these women and their children feel safe especially after they are released from the shelter and are left alone to survive on their own. We assist them financially helping with different expenses such as food, shelter, clothes, furniture, and we also connect them with other resources for additional help such as therapy for children and employment. 

We also visit the shelter frequently and do different activities with the women and children such as crafts and games.
